casper is now in matric
(matric = grade 12 = final year of school)
their matric farewell
was held on friday, the 8th of oct.,
casper had a good laugh at henk,
becauce henk tried to look
like the *mafia boss' desicnated driver*
(photo below)
his partner for the evening was johané
she is a soft, radiant girl
with a inner beauty
they had a most enjoyable evening
the theme was "vintage'...
we had a sneak preview.
the grade 11's did a STUNNING!! job
of decorating the venue
casper and his friends
was seated at tabel 18
the dance floor was decorated
like a vineyard.

were covered with murals...

i think it felt like a "wunderland"....

Wow - Ida that is just so beautiful, and your son & his date both looked wonderful ! Such great memories ..... I remember our matric farewell theme was 'One Night In Bangkok' and it was also a memorable evening - I won't tell you how many years ago it was now though ! Have a wonderful week :)

Oh my, Ida, that boy of yours is divinely handsome. He looks so much like you. Believe this or not, I remember Casper when he was only a toddler of about three! And now he is this debonair young man with a beautiful girl at his side. And WOW what a beautiful setting; the grade 11's did well. I remember going to Grant's matric farewell which was the Wizard of Oz. And then we had two more together in my std nine year and my matric year. Cannot remember the themes but I married my man two years after that! Thanks for sharing these pictures with us. Blessings and hugs Jo

Betty, I was trying to be a Mafia Boss !! It's my little boy that growing up too fast, more reason to have so many grey hair ...
But I'm blessed to have great kids with a great mom to teach them all the good thing in life.
Mind you, I had to be paient for about 240 photo's to be taken... that's where I think I was good, never asked her to hurry up !!!
